Ok ok, so the title doesn’t really show much efforts. In fact I have been making efforts, just not full on bootcamp yet though!
As I said in the first post about this challenge, I want to lose the belly. Well, all my efforts so far are only making my legs stronger…
I’ve been doing a lot of things while holding the baby. Like elevators, which help put her to sleep:
Also, she apparently really likes it when I run around the house carrying her… Sometimes she even falls asleep. Don’t know if that’s because she is like an orangina bottle or just because she’s completely traumatized by now. Erh, we’ll see.
So anyway, I’ve gathered some resources for me to start considering trying to eventually pretend to act up on that physical effort thing.
The main one being a 10 minute version of P90X my brother downloaded told me about. He himself is all about doing the whole hour and a half a day of exercizing. Yeah, not so much in my house. Unless there is a actual recognition of the fact that having to care for two kids under 3 is about close to p90x only all day long!
Ok, ok, I digress and embellish.
So the 10 minute work out thing seems like the solution (by the way, I’m exaggerating, it’s probably nothing like p90x, but it’s the same crazy bulked up guy who’s on the video). Then there are some links online I found that I should check out (remember the keywords: “considering starting to try”).
An exercise routine I found on About specifically for postpartum wanna be barbies like me. Seems thorough and has a daily plan…
Another one on fitpregnancy, might be good too, seems detailed.
A link of links to postnatal work outs on fitpregnancy also.
More About opinions.
Then there is a site called flat stomach exercises where there are some guides.
Finally on foodie goodie, they have a belly specific article.
Now do I plan on going to actually check out these resources? Oh sure. Most likely I’ll do the 10 minute work out thing. It’s just about how long I have to give this challenge!
The other resources I’m sure are great. I’ll go check them out and try them out individually so as to give my opinion of them on here. I just can’t promise it won’t take me a thousand years because, well, I’m not only lazy, I’m also wayyyy into sitting in my chair and tweeting when my daughter does sleep during the day. Then there is also the whole laundry, cleaning thing that a nice stay at home mother is expected to be doing. And since this last sentence as many wrong things about it, I will say that: it’s the subject of a bitching post!
Cheers!
