Web3 is more than Crypto, Blockchain, pixelated jpegs and stoner chimpanzee cartoons. It has applications that encourage decentralization, promote the arts, inspire people to innovate, and most of all: community!

As mentioned in a previous article, beyond economics and technology, the Web3 world needs a spiritual element as well, enabling wellness and self-awareness. A way to construct this new movement and world knowing we are all connected and that we are one. After all, we wouldn’t want to fall back to a Web2 dilemma where people get burned out from FOMO and sitting in front of the screen forgetting about their connection to themselves and to the Universe as a whole. Oh wait… That’s already happening!

I did a previous basic Google search for spiritual spaces in Web3, and came up with a short list that I published in another blog post. These were but a scratch of the surface.

Now that I’ve gone deeper into Twitter/Discord Web3 world, and continue to dig, I’ve found a lot more communities and spaces that might be of interest to anyone having read this far.

I have signed up for a lot of these communities in the most basic way through following them on Twitter and getting on their Discord. This is sort of an experiment for me. Are Web3 communities easy to navigate, inviting, what do they offer that’s different from the communities in Web2 I belong to etc? This is a personal experiment, it does not reflect on the quality of what each of these communities offer, but rather on my personal values and curiosity to see how Web3 evolves as a whole. In this experiment I’ve also started with communities that aren’t spiritual/wellness spaces. Just for good measure 😉
